Premier’s Ultra-UV-R system combines the proven technologies of ultraviolet treatment and carbon filtration to provide you with an inexpensive source of clean, clear water. This economical system is ideal for municipal and well water, and works under a variety of water temperatures and pressures. Easy to install and maintain, the UV-R fits under the counter or in a cabinet, and dispenses great tasting water from an included lead-free faucet.
Designed for years of trouble-free service, the Ultra UV-R is tested and certified to meet NSF Standard 53 for the reduction of lead and cysts, including Giardia, Cryptosporidium, Toxoplasma and Entamoeba. This system makes clean water at a faster rate than pitcher filters, and with normal use and upkeep will provide up to 1,350 gallons of water between filter changes.
Additionally, Premier has constructed the individual components of the UV-R system to work together to provide a higher level of filtration. The sediment filter, tested by FSI labs, reduces dirt, sand, and rust in your water supply to prolong the unit’s life. The ultraviolet module treats your water on a 24-hour per day basis with the same method used by many bottling companies and municipal water sources. Finally, the carbon filter, tested by Omnipure Filter laboratories, reduces bad tastes, chlorine, and lead, bringing you high quality water on demand.
