As the name suggests, this site focuses on Premier’s reverse osmosis systems. While it does not delve into portable reverse osmosis units, industrial reverse osmosis applications or how to make a reverse osmosis diagram, know these are all things that can be explored with the help of one of our friendly customer service agents.
Premier’s reverse osmosis water treatment systems feature a three-step purification process. Initially, water is passed through a series of filters – including one sediment filter and one carbon filter – to remove large contaminants and harmful chemicals/pollutants. Secondarily, the water is forced through a special plastic membrane to remove very small contaminants. For optimal performance, it is recommended that you change the filters in a Premier reverse osmosis system every six months. The reverse osmosis membrane generally will last 2-5 years.
Certified to meet NSF Standard 58, Premier reverse osmosis systems reduce lead, chromium, radium, tastes, odors and several other contaminants from your water. The Five Stage Reverse Osmosis system – often used when whole house reverse osmosis systems are needed – also comes with a handy Digital Pocket TDS monitor that indicates the quantity of total dissolved solids being reduced by the membrane.
